Type, Image, Composition 3: Self Annhilation, Death, Resurrection
The third workshop involved using our face as a base for
what we created. The first task involved us deconstructing a low-resolution
photo of ourselves and sticking it back down on a new sheet to create a new self-portrait.
The second task of the workshop was to then draw the self-portrait we had just constructed.
The third part of the workshop involved taking two scans of our face, one where
we were still and the second when we moved our face along the scanner as it was
scanning. We then proceeded to, like the first task, cut up these photos of ourselves
and create a new self portrait from it. Below are my results from the three
tasks respectively.
